Commitment to the Mission
This is a battle, not a cruise. We are fiercely committed to the mission of Jesus Christ at New Song. There is no ego or personal ambition. Only the absolute dedication to the plan of God for New Song.
Adventure
We take Spirit-led risks. We are not called to play it safe but to take calculated, spirit-led faith steps into the unknown. Trusting God for the outcome that fulfills His mission.
Selflessness
Our best gift is ourselves. We give of our time, talents, and friendship to serve our church community.
Affirmation
Be sincere in what you say. We are intentional about providing genuine and specific affirmation and encouragement.
Honest Evaluation
Our two superpowers: We are unoffendable and always approachable. We need honest and ongoing evaluation to continue to improve.
Multiplication
We make Disciples. We focus on forming more followers of Jesus Christ.
Generosity
Give what is given. We cheerly give part of the full blessing God has given us. We give financially and we give from the resources flowing through our lives.
Compassion
We care for others. We do not judge. We care for those who are hurting, suffering, and cannot take care of themselves. Whether at the altar or on the street we show compassion always.
Creativity
We find unique ways to do extraordinary things. We deliberately seek out innovative ways to express ministry in the church and present the gospel to the world.
